The 6031 welding tip fits all of Polyvance's airless plastic welder elements. The tip comes to a point making it easier to get into corners. It replaces the 6028RT welding tip.

Will this tip fit into the soldering iron that I already have?
It is very unlikely that this tip will fit into your existing soldering iron. The threads on this tip are 12/24 NPT (National Pipe Taper)
Of what type of metal is this tip made?
This tip is cast brass, which is a mixture of copper and zinc. There is no lead in our brass and is, therefore, ROHS compliant.
